My man!!!

Hello beautiful people! Hwz it going with you guys? So,I had this conversation with ma BF for almost 12yrs on Sunday and he made me realize just how much I was still the same girl that so much blivd in crazy love,only I'm more mature now and more experienced I guess!
So,I checkd up on ma notes while tryn to write a new one, and I came across this 1 and I thot I shld share it with you guys.........
FEB 2nd,2006!
I remember one day when I was in SS3. On our way home from school with ma frnds, sum ok looking kinda guy waz staring at us, and after we had concluded that he was staring at ma frnd Kande cos of her height,dey turnd the tables on me saying,”Spesh you ur d only one among us that can tolerate a guy like that cuz it seems that you can do anythn for love”…..We had laughd it off and it ended there. Bt,recently I got thinking,most galz ma age hav a certain criteria 4 their right man bt all I keep sayn is, “if I luv him,then I cud live with him no mata what he luks like”..just as they had predicted you wud say bt I guess thats why they r my frnds!


Bt its always puzzled me that I cudnt find a name for what I luvd most in a guy…..Then an aunt of mine helped me define it.she had askd me y I always said that Gov Duke waz ma best public figure?........I n answer I narrated to her how at the commissioning of the cable car at Obudu ranch,afta the Gov alighted,he strechd his hand and helpd his wife as well b4 he spoke to the bunch of reporters waiting to talk to him…”I tel ya dt small effort spoke volumes to me and it was one of those tyms that I wished I was a journalist just to get an insight into their private lives.”………….”I also got to notice that at public functions,d Gov always sat somewhat tiltd 2wards d direction his wife was sitd and u wud c them whispern to each other and laughing at God knws what”………”I mean 4 a Gov in Naija to 4get he’s in public eye when he’s arnd his wife is just such a delightful sight to behold” I had concluded!

Then ma aunt said that I’m just the kinda girl that wud tolerate any guy once his ma frnd and treats me well. “Sensitivity” was what she calld it. “But you knw that a rare xtic 4 our ego-driven African men” she added, crashing ma dreams……..”when ur ideologies differ and you cant find a common ground with ur patner, then dr’s gonna be serious darkness that can even consume the love that you have for one another” she said!

So that was d end of that whole conversation and talkn to ma frnd,made me realize that I'm not so much different now,just that I actually understand what it actually feels like to keep hoping that wud happen but it never does until you decide that you cant take it no more!!!
